Section C and D of the Biding of the Fire Control System Transformation Framework Project for Wind Turbines of Huaneng are Awarded to PROTECH

On December 11, 2023, “The Fire Control System Transformation Framework Project for Wind Turbines” of Huaneng Renewables Corporation Limited confirmed bid opening. PROTECH successfully won section C and D of the bidding, and is expected to supply and install the supporting automatic fire protection system for more than 1200 wind turbines.

Huaneng Renewables Co., Ltd. was established in 2002, and it has managed more than 5,700 wind turbines by October 2023. With the growth of operation time, the fire risks of old units of all types wind turbines increase year by year. In order to improve the fire protection and fire extinguishing capacity of the wind turbine units, the fire protection system transformation supplier of the wind turbine is selected by Huaneng through public bidding.

Section C: Framework project of ultra-fine dry powder automatic fire control system renovation project of Huaneng Renewables Co., Ltd.;

Section D: Framework project of S-type thermal aerosol automatic fire control system renovation project of Huaneng Renewables Co., Ltd.

Project area of subsidies of Huaneng Renewables are Hebei, Yunnan, Liaoning, Eastern Mongolia, Western Mongolia, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Guangdong and other regions.
